What would eventually become Shults Construction began in
1965 when Warren Shults built a home in his spare time
while still working full time for Musgrove Construction Co.
Warren worked for Musgrove for 9 years helping them to build
the Elks Club, a school in Curtis, an addition to the Court
House, and the first addition to the First National Bank, to
name a few of their projects. In 1971 Warren left
Musgrove and began Shults Construction. Warren began by building a duplex, and then a spec home. Over the years
Shults has grown into a Custom Home Builder. They have
built some of the most beautiful homes in North Platte.
They have done many other projects over the years including
commercial buildings, duplexes, and Pacific Place Apartments;
but their favorite remains the custom home built specifically
to the needs and desires of their customers.
Warren's son Mark began helping
out as soon as he was old enough, after school and on
weekends. He gradually worked his way up in the company,
became a supervisor in the early 90's, worked along side his
father for a number of years, and began taking charge as
Warren semi-retired. You will find Warren out on the
golf course on most nice days.
